PRESSRELEASE FOALS + YOUNGSTER AUCTION

Aug 4, 2025

Happy faces and international HorseSales references!

Two auction days later, on Tuesday morning, we can take stock of the situation. Bids came in from all over the world. And buyers once again recognised the value of the selection and collection. It started on Sunday evening, when El Pegase caught the eye of a Dutch stallion owner but will ultimately leave for South Africa for €26,000. We saw a similar picture a day later. Where European Champion United Touch saw his daughter Silvana (€40.000) go to France instead of Switzerland after a fierce bidding duel!

Where to start. After an auction where interest poured in from all over the world. And we were happy to not only serve our regular group of bidders and buyers. But also welcome a growing group of new HorseSales.Auction enthusiasts!

Among the foals, most of the attention was focused on the complete El Pegase RV. In terms of conformation, pedigree and movement, he has all the right qualities for a career as a stallion. But the powerful Earthquake and the interestingly bred eye-catcher Camille KCX also attracted a lot of interest. In the double digits, Earthquacke (€22.000 Brazil) Cum Laude van de Wittemoere (€16,500 Brazil), United Key (€14,500 America), Crack the Code (€13,500) and Duc de Diamant (€12,000), among others, also left via HorseSales.Auction for renowned breeders and sports stables.

A great success with an average price of almost €10,500 and a sales percentage of over 90%!

A day later (Monday evening), the spotlight was once again on the HorseSales.Auction. Almost all 30 young show jumpers found a new home. It comes as no surprise that Silvana, daughter of United Touch, attracted attention and will be moving to France. Dutch riders secured young talent in the form of Waldik van t Merelsnest and Willy Wonder van het Kloosterhof, which fetched €28,000 and €26,000 respectively. Several candidates also registered for Cornet Obolensky daughter Rucinda (€21,000 Spain), Viola Bradt (€21,000 Switzerland) and Attractive de Bitho (€19,000 Turkey).

We look back with satisfaction on another very successful auction in our sixth season. In addition to the bidders and buyers, we would also like to thank our loyal breeders and consignors. We would like to invite them to the video days on 23 August (foals) and 19 September (young horses) + 20 September (foals).

Next auction: 11 – 14 September (foals)
Next auction: 9 – 12 October (foals + young show jumpers)
