Fresh out of the rearing centre. And although she was well-handled, easy-going and blessed with a top-class temperament, this mare hadn’t really experienced much yet. It says a lot about her attitude that, fresh out of the rearing centre, she demonstrated her excellent temperament by jumping through the new surroundings without any trouble. Beyond that positive attitude, we also saw a horse with potential. Good reflexes, awareness and balance characterised her jumping style. These traits are also characteristic of this Nuberta line. The fact that her sire, Nondeju, is currently making sporting strides at Leon Thijssen’s stables, and that she herself is bred from the 1m55 Grand Prix winner Ulena, raises sporting expectations even further for this easy-going and high-quality auction lot.
