ABOUT
Funky Music was under the saddle of Ann Carton Grootjans one of the fixed values at three-star competitions. They won among others the grand Prix of Bonheiden. Besides her jumping career she performed in breeding. She is mother to the BWP approved stallion El Torreo de Muze who jumps at 1.60m levels with Bernardo Alves. And she is mother to Bretling du Paradis, the previous 1.60m horse of Rick Hemeryck. The news this month brought that her daughter Next Funky after the Belgium Championships is sold to the stables of Axel Verlooy. Funky Music is already sister to five horses that jumped at a minimum level of 1.45m.

The buyer rents the surrogate mare up to a maximum of 6 months after foaling. The price for renting the surrogate mare is € 3,000,-. This amount is therefore over the final amount offered for the embryo. The contract concluded by the seller is therefore taken over by the new owner. Avantea from Itay remains the owner of the surrogate mare. After 6 months, the buyer must return the surrogate mare to Avantea, Italy at his expense. There will be no refund when the surrogate mare is sent back to Avantea, Italy.
Insurance
The end price of the embryo is the price including the insurance of the embryo/foal. The embryo is insured for the price of € 20.000,- (minimum embryo age 42 days gestation) up to 120 days after birth. In addition, the insured value, without additional premium, is doubled upon receipt of the "birth certificate of the foal" in good health, established 48 hours after birth.
YOU ARE GUARANTEED FOR:
- loss of the fetus during pregnancy up to the insured amount, regardless of the cause
- loss of the fetus upon the death of the surrogate mare
- the loss of the foal during foaling
- the death of the foal during 120 days after birth
